Question about getting all 5.1 surround speakers to work when playing music?

Hi, my GF's got an average 5.1 surround system & when she bought it she was under the impression that she'd be able to play music & it would play through all the speakers.
But has since realized it only plays through all the speakers with Dvd's.
Everything else is just through the front 2 speakers.

This is the one she has, if not very similar: Samsung - HT-TX35T
(was going to post a link bat cant cause I'm a noob)

It's got wireless speakers, so I'm doubting my question already....

Personally I have a Yamaha amp & JBL 5.1 speakers. Its easy to make it play music on all the speakers. Just in the equalizer.

Is it physically possible to somehow make the Samsung play through all speakers with music?

Cheers!

Not being familiar with that particular unit, I'll just note that vitually all AVR's I've seen have some sort of "all channels stereo" mode hidden somewhere in the menus. You might want to check the owners manual for more on this feature.

Agree with Mark.
Check pages 52 - 53 of the user manual.
Thanks VERY MUCH!! :D

Yep that makes sense! Press mode & change to Matrix, I will try that.

Thanks!
