It was sure banged up. You'd think I'd be crazy for taking the offer, but I was actually fortunate, as I only needed one speaker. The beat up speaker was basically a small learning project, that I get to essentially keep for free, more or less.
Ah, yeah black panels in a dark room, yeah I'd save your money too there. After all, you'd probably get better* absorption without the framing too, and if you ever change your mind, these are pretty easy to sell off, of course. Cool, I'm glad this is going to work out fine with little pain.
For the PJ, it's so way worth it. The one main thing that's not worth it too many people is going dark, so really your major battle would already have been won! Anyways, I don't want to go too OT, just wanted to bring it up, but if you ever do get curious, just PM GO-NAD! because he likes his new PJ a lot, and I think he was going back n forth about it at one point, IIRC.
Thank you. I know what you mean. I had ordered a Crown XTi amplifier that arrived with this nice dime sized dent into it, I can't remember if it was the top or bottom. Returned it, had to wait for some time, finally got a replacement drop shipped directly from manufacturer, IIRC.
Then seriously just like days or weeks after, the tapped horn flatpack that I ordered, well this is what I see rolling down . . .
Thankfully everything was fine, after I tore the box up a bit more to take a gander inside . . . anyways, looks like a forklift ran straight into it, eh?
