SSD rocks for a boot drive. I use a Kingston 128GB SSD as the boot/application drive (C) for my main desktop, with a 300GB Raptor holding the swap files and 4x WD Black 1TB drives in HW RAID5 for my data.

Kingstons are ok, but as I remember they don't use SF controller, which makes HUGE difference. I paid of my 50Gb OCZ half year ago - $160 !!

This deal will be gone soon !!

thats nice...... nice to see these ssd's are finally starting to come down to earth in price....

I'll bet those will start to be common place for OS's and larger spin drivers as storage....

I'm sure the GSkill are faster (love their RAM) but the Kingston SSD is now the fastest part of my old Core 2 Quad. ;)
