impressive! My sealed 18 with 33mm of reasonably linear xmax can't do 18hz meaningfully! Amazing paradigm. I will buy a paradigm as my next sub. Thanks for the info.

Confused. Test data says 100db. In the middle of the room seems pretty good.
This review seems to be more favorable than my experience. When I compared it to the sub 12, it seemed less powerful, but mostly less impact at the leading edge. The sub 12 seemed a lot more controlled. Having double the power, a larger cone and enclosure makes sense.
I find it strange that the reviewer gave it such high marks having heard the sub 25. The sub 12 was almost twice as much as the 110, but given how ugly it is, and that it performed better in the same room and the same spot, I felt it was worth the big uptick.
Maybe my dual 12's will exceed my expectations if the 110 can really get those test results.

I'm not sure they would fudge the numbers, but who knows. I was surprised by how much power it had for a little box, but I heard a sunfire years ago with their small box magic subs, and it just didn't sound the same.
Not sure where to find impartial reviews. Maybe guys like Ilka, certainly not ID company owners, or fanboys of any brand/design.

I don't think they fudged it. They did not know how to interpret their data.

This unit is very similar to the small Sunfire.

Basically they have contrived to make a huge resonance at 20 Hz. Most of the rest of the output is in fact distortion in my opinion. I see that the output above the 20 Hz peak ripple seems to consists of the second harmonic but to a greater extent the ugly 3rd and 5th harmonics.

I would bet that is an ugly one noter like the Sunfire.

Also its spl is puny and any decent sized room would dwarf it.

Agreed... maybe in a closet you could enjoy the output and impact of a puny little thing like that... I would suggest that it would be a good sub coupled with a 2.1 computer setup, but wondering who would pay that kind of price for it...
