Should we Eliminate Facebook Integration on the Forums?

The Facebook integration on our forums seems to be causing some forum related issues. Does anyone use the Facebook forum integration or would you rather it go away?

If facebook is related to the really bad spamming that is occurring on the forums then no doubt get rid of it. I find the facebook stuff pointless anyways.

At work, it can cause problems because Facebook is blocked by our network nannies.

Gene, if this is causing the huge rise in spammers, then ditch it ASAP. I don't use the Facebook integration anyway.

I do have a Facebook account at the insistence of children and relatives. I don't use it. The founder comes across as a twerpy nerdy sort of bloke to me.

I never use it, but then I rarely use facebook. Hopefully losing facebook will cut down on spam.

I say ditch it. I never post anything to facebook even though my account is linked. Plus, if facebook (or your FB account) goes down, you can't post on the forums because it won't post it until you've said yes or no to posting it to your profile.

What I have to say matters very little, as I've never been to Facebook, Twitter or anything else for that matter. I spend an inordinate amount of time on this bloody thing without the benefit of being tweeted.

In use Facebok to keep in touch with family and friends. Thiis is a whole 'nuther world from Audioholics. That I use to learn/help virtual stereo buddies and help newbies get into the hobby. ...and occasionally kick sand in the face of bullies.

A better question would be does anyone here use the facebook integration feature at all? I don't, I I haven't heard of anyone who does. If all it is doing is luring spammers, I would drop it in a heartbeat.

Didn't know we had it either. Sure is a bunch nonsense being posted lately though. And whats up with the posts in language not offered on my keyboard?

Also, if I was a perv that wanted to look @ nude pictures, don't think I would be spending my time here. Those that have seen the threads know what I am talking about.
