New Headphones From Shure! - SRH940

This is very exciting news. The SRH line is already excellent and some of the best closed on the market at their price points. I love the new look of the 940. I would definitely consider these as my next headphones when they come out. Comfort and build quality looks to be improved over the 440/840 with the velour pads. These look awesome!

Yes they do. Shure really has seemed to boost up the comfort level on these, which is probably my biggest issue with the SRH line and closed headphones in general. I am looking forward to see how these measure up, literally.

Its hard to tell from those promotional pictures but it also looks like the wires are internal and not exposed leading to the earcups. An excellent design decision if the case. The previous Shure line and other headphones like the Sony 7506/V6 have the exposed wires that can easily get caught on something.

True true.... I ruined a brand new pair because of that... And of course because im a clutz... LOL
