I'm too lazy to make a list, plus there have been a lot of 2010 releases I've yet to check out. I'll just post the 2010 albums that I listened to the most according to my last.fm:

Efterklang - Magic Chairs (4AD)
Lucidstatic - Symbiont Underground (Tympanik Audio)
Architect - Consume, Adapt, Create (Ant-Zen)
Candle Nine - The Muse in the Machine (Tympanik Audio)
Netsky - Netsky (Hospital Records)
Diaphane - Samdhya (Ant-Zen)
BT - These Hopeful Machines (Nettwerk)
Hybrid - Disappear Here (Distinct'ive Records)
Anklebiter - I Will Wait (Tympanik Audio)
The Album Leaf - A Chorus of Storytellers (Sub Pop)
Jónsi - Go (XL Recordings)
Zeller - Turbulences (Tympanik Audio)
Dryft - Ventricle (n5MD)
Reso - Temjin (Civil Music)
Delphic - Acolyte (Chimeric Records)
Talib Kweli + Hi-Tek are Reflection Eternal - Revolutions Per Minute (Blacksmith/Warner Bros)
Bonobo - Black Sands (Ninja Tune)
Totakeke - On the First of November (Tympanik Audio)
Fractional - Blood (Tympanik Audio/Brume Records)
ASC - Nothing is Certain (Nonplus Records)

I got too lazy to type any more. That's just in the order of most played, not a ranking of what I think is better. Unfortunately I can't scrobble tracks played in the car, but overall it seems like I really didn't listen to all that many new releases last year.

What a wonderful collection of albums, some I've heard some I'll check out! With such a wide range of tastes, you must do a lot of listening and searching. How cool to benefit from you guys!

I don't really have a comprehensive list, myself. Been kinda lax this year, let alone keeping track of what I've been buying.

Produced by Burial, sung by Jamie Woon, I found this tune to be one of my favorites of late 2010. Also Burial's remix of Woon's "Wayfairing Stranger" is a great track if your into that.

...

Mushroom Jazz 7 came out, another addition to the wonderful mushroom jazz sets of Mark Farina. Fluid house music mixed with elements of jazz, hip-hop and always fairly chill.

...

Also keep up with Magnetic Man. Skream, Benga and Artwork have combined to make some very interesting tracks:

Katy B adding lyrics that sum up the dubstep culture pretty well: subs going boom and inhaling fumes.

...

On the more acoustic level, Ellie Goulding's cover of Elton John has been a favorite of this year for me:

serious lack of Kanye, Big Boi and The Roots in this topic.
Eh, I think most of them just don't listen to urban music. :)

Yeah, the Root's especially. Dear God 2.0 with Monsters Of Folk is amazing....also make sure to see the music video.

As far as Big Boi, he's always great (I still listen to ATLiens regularly btw), but a quick lookup of the one that got the most plays for me was "For Your Sorrrows":

As far as Kanye's "Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" .... I really believe he is at the best he has ever been. It's human, it's gritty.

Funny enough me and my manager both into metal.. We have it constantly the speakers while working in office...
Somedays, then more cowbell required, we switch gears into a bit heavier stuff like :
Lamb of God
Pantera
Meshugah
Devil Driver
and my Fav -> Arch Enemy - If you don't know them - You must watch at-least one of their videos

"Metal" these days, doesn't mean what it used too. so i know very little about it.
this is not to say i would not like it.

to me "Metal" or "Heavy Metal" is hair bands from the 80's & 90's, and some from the 70's.
