Please Help Me Chose

Hello everyone, I'm new here and in need of help selecting which is the best speaker option to go with.

Purpose:
This is for a retail shop with a 10' drop ceiling. The retail area is 64' wide and 30' deep. To be used for overhead music/messaging (AKA background music).

I am thinking a total of 10-12 8" speakers roughly 10-12ft apart from each other.

I will also need an amp and/or speaker switch so if you can recommend one I would appreciate it.

Speaker Options: NOTE* Since I'm new I can't post links yet so please just add the www in front of each of these in your browser.
  • htd.com/Products/multi-purpose/MP-R80-ceiling-speakers
  • outdoorspeakerdepot.com/pgincespico.html
  • monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=10837&cs_id=1083703&p_id=4104&seq=1&format=3#specification
So in summary:
  1. Which is the better speaker to go with?
  2. Is 10 speakers sufficient or should I go with 12?
  3. What amp/receiver/switch do I need to run all of them?
As always any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I have marked that amp down. As far as teh speakers go I'm still thinking I need about 10 of them to make sure I don't have any dead spots. However I can not find any info on how wide of a cone any of the speakers put out. By cone I mean coming down 10' how far will the imaginary sound barrier go in a 45* angle. (I hope that made sense.)

Does anyone have any comments on the speakers I linked above?

Give HTD a call - they are good for the money. Their customer
service is very good. They will answer your questions.
Thanks Jim,

So you like their stuff over the others I listed? The only issue I have with buying a 100.00/pair is that I will never turn it up that loud and maybe wasting a bunch of extra money.

I like their stuff. You still want speakers to sound fairly good, even
at lower volumes
