Flat Panels and Stereo/HT Speakers

New question, do floor standing (or bookshelf) speakers that are not magnetically shielded affect LCD's or Plasma pictures like they do for CRT's? Right now with my spacing there is plenty of space between my speakers and the TV. Once I upgrade the TV, due to room size, my non magnetically shielded speakers will be right up against the display. Any problems with this?

No problem at all. Shielded speakers only mattered for CRT TVs. The flat panel sets, both LCD and plasma, are not affected by the unshielded magnets in loudspeakers.

That's what I thought but then I started second guessing myself. That takes one of the dilemma's out of the purchasing process. Thanks for the answer.
