Hello,
I have a 5.1 home theater system, it may become 7.1 shortly.

I have ADS CM6 -Fronts, ADS MV15/S- Surrounds, B&W CC6 S2 -Center and a B&W ASW 1000 sub. I plan to add ADS CM5 for rears.

I need recommendations on how to power this system, whether I should go av receiver or separtes and which ones.

My budget is about $500-$900.

Thanks for the help.

What do you think about just doing the Onkyo TX-NR808?

Enough power though?
I can't give an honest answer to that, as I have never used the Onkyo in question. I have used an Onkyo receiver in the past, and it is still working today. It would always run hot, and go into protection mode(shut down). It never failed to come back on.

My last receiver was a Yamaha, and my current receiver is a Yamaha. Neither have ever shut down.

The set-up I recommended will have enough power for any speaker system you have now, or will have in the future.

I have a preference, as do many others.
