Good meeting you today. I liked your speakers etc. We had to turn up the SVS amp really high for the Yamaha RX-V2065 HD A/V Receivers, Audyssey to "See" the sub with the mic test. It still does not hit as hard as it should, James said he would call SVS Monday and talk to the Tech Support.

It should be able to blow your pants off.(I think you heard that in my house)

What do you have the level set for the sub at the AVR? What do you have the crossover set to in the AVR? Do you have the speakers set to "small"(you want them on small). Do you have an SPL meter to properly level match? Do you need me to come over and help with set up?

If you think there is an issue with the sub, bring it back and swap it for my other one.

Try it first without running YPAO sound optimization and make sure the EQ settings on the SVS are disabled before running YPAO. I have always had to manually adjust the sub settings after because YPAO never gets it right.

Also try the sub in a different location, it may just be sitting in a bad spot in the room.

Hi Dawg
James called the SVS Tech Support and finally got it set up correctly.
He had to go 80% on the gain for the mic to see the sub. We moved it to several places in his huge room like yours and WOW is it clear. He also purchased a meter to set up his other sub so they are somewhat balanced now. Wish I had not listened to it. Now my subs sound dull. Oh..... cool bikes you have... I saw your other post and pic's.
Happy Holidays
