Anybody Notice the new HSU Sub?

I don't think its ugly at all, I think it looks cool and is a bit different then the norm.... the wood grain and color is really nice... I'm sure its probably a nice sub...

I'd like to hear one - gotta be better then the PLUS/2 for SQ, with almost as much output and probably alot less shaking of stuff all around the house...

I like it as well but I've decided if I'm going to spend $1k+ on a single sub it's going to be the new JTR Captivator.

Yeah, as long as looks go - not sure the Captivator is really high in the WAF dept, but not everyone has those needs, and I am curious how those sound...

Yeah, HSU has it in the looks department for sure, though the Captivator's footprint is actually smaller. Haven't heard one but the numbers that JTR have published make it a top contender as far as low distortion output in the under $2k bracket.

They are offering the Cap with a grill and variable tuning now(20 or 15hz).
