1972 called, they want their fabric back.
You know, I never gave that a thought really. My primary criteria was cheap, then it had to be able to be breathed through and lastly I wanted it to match something in the color scheme in the room. I wasn't trying for an era specific pattern. I know you're kidding but it is something I'll consider in the future ... era specific colors and patterns ... there go my estrogen levels again.

Yeah, the REW method would probably be best. Too bad I'm too stupid to figure that program out. Besides, you probably couldn't mount/remove the panels fast enough to make reliable comparisons.
There is something to be said for long term comparisons and the subjective analysis. I may have trouble comparing a Brothers in Arms CD played on a Sony to an SACD played on a Denon but I think I am better able to say that I prefer the general sound of panels -vs- no panels ... especially after listening to one and the other for a month or two in the space that I listen to music in daily.

Maybe I'll do something this week in honor of Alex. If he does something I normally must do something.
My next move is to get an MP3 player and some headphones so I can call Goodwill to get this sh!t out of my house. :D

Yeah I gotta lot stuff to get rid off too, but I don't think the wife will let me get rid of all the decor and put up panels instead.

Nice Job on the panels Alex. Does anyone have or know of some plans for DIY diffusers?

Here is one thread. I'm sure you know, but you will need significant/proper space from diffusers for them to be effective, they may be quite difficult and/or time consuming to build, and make sure you have some sort of proper design (because I'm pretty sure you can't make some haphazard/random design). That Terry Montlick guy really knows his shiznit, btw, I've read his posts in the past.
