Damn, I would've ponied up for the extra $100 for this over the 1900, but having had it for a few months now, I'm still pretty happy with my decision.

For those on the fence regarding this unit, it's a no brainer w/the warranty... -TD

I have the older RX-V1800 and its a great receiver with plenty of power and just enough features to keep me busy. :)

Wow! Great deal. I'd love to upgrade my RX-V2500 (paid $1000 for) just for the HDMI alone. It's just not in my budget this year.

awesome deal. I'd love to have one but it's just not part of the budget.

Well, I was looking for a budget receiver for the bedroom until somebody handed me $700 today (hobby turned into a side business). Looks like the living room is getting a new AVR and the mid range AVR is heading to the bedroom.

I did look at the upper end refurbed Onkyos, but they wouldn't fit depth wise in the entertainment center. My wife is going to $#@% when I break out the hole saw this weekend to drill holes for cooling fans in her Tommy Bahama furniture so I know she wouldn't like the sawzall being fired up to cut out the back so the Onkyo would fit. If I end up in the doghouse, I'll be banned to my workshop where my Technics receiver from high school is still kicking out the tunes and the beer fridge is well stocked.:D
