I was listening to the 2nd LP of American Grafitti, a musical style back then known as "doo-wop" . As I was listening to this, it struck me that the voices of these singers had to be as good as the instruments being played. In other words, a bad voice could not hide behind the instuments. It was refreshing to hear people who could sing/harmonize with the music. Just an observation.

i just LOVE that movie.

while that genre of music is not my favorite. i do like it. when i go to a cruise night with the hot rod, that is what they play. and i wouldn't have it any other way.
can you imagine if it was in stereo :wow:

Are you referring to "Clap For The Wolfman" by the Guess Who featuring Burton Cummings/Randy Bachman? If so, that song was written in the early to mid 70s.

Great movie. The soundtrack never stop from the beginning to the end of the movie.

Never listened to the soundtrack, but the movie is one of my favorites from that time period.
