This?

How much are you paying for it?

It models decently, in a 2-3 cu ft box tuned around 22-23hz. However it's not the most sensitive driver in the world... expect to need much amplification to drive it decently in any huge room. I don't really like the punchyness i'm seeing in the transfer function but i guess some people do. It isn't a bad driver, with a decently low fs and ~12.6 BL but I do think a shiva or LMS-R would likely best it.

the sub is a duel 2ohm and i have a matching amp left over from an instal i did in a mates car thats the only reason i was going to use it.
but you say it could work well?
and if i do you it would you recomend ported, seald or a bandpass box

This driver tends to work best in vented applications when using in the home environment. I cannot provide specifics right now as I am using my iPhone and not my pc with my modeling programs.

The driver itself is actually quite well designed from a linearity perspective.

I recommend a ported box, with the VC wired in series. Maybe a tapped horn to increase sensitivity, but tuning it and folding it would take some time.

So vented 2-3 cu ft tuned to around 22-23 Hz
Will start designing a box.

It might work but it's not made for use in a room. There's a big difference in how the woofer will couple to the room vs the interior of a car, regardless of how it sounds outside of a car. A sealed box in a car with the windows down is effectively a bandpass box, although its tuning hasn't been calculated.

good point, but i guess its going to be good enough to get me started on my build.

How big is the room where you'll use the sub? If it's smallish, like 10'W x 12'L x 8'H, it should be OK. Make sure the Q isn't too high.
