Anyone picking up Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood?

I was reading the reviews and though positivite, most said what I was afraid of: not enough has changed from ACII to make this one really stand on its own and that the primary focus in this one was clearly the multiplayer. Almost as if the multiplayer was not ready for ACII so they put it off and released this. They also said it was shorter than ACII and didn't add much to the existing story. I doubt the multiplayer will be enough for me to sink a full $60 on this one.

I haven't gotten around to playing the first two, so I'm definitely not planning on getting it any time soon, if I get it at all.

Second one is good. First one was good when it came out, but not compared to current titles.

I'll get around to playing them eventually (I have both). I'm not too worried about comparisons to modern games - I don't play any. I regularly play a 10 year old FPS

I'm picking it up... I don't play many games anymore (just don't have the time), and since I love the series, gameplay, and story I really don't have a problem dropping the money. I'm only buying a couple new games a year, so it's not like I'm taking away from another purchase.

That's just it, if it goes on sale for Black Friday weekend (and I am sure it will), I can get it price adjusted at Frys

Tehy will if it's within a certain timeframe. I've had several cases where I ordered items only to have the price drop within a week or two and then automatically get a refund.

They USED to do that, their current policy is that once the order is shipped, you will not get a refund if the price goes down. You only get a refund if the price drops before it ships. I received 2 discounts last week for items I ordered, but looking at the dates, they were because the price dropped prior to shipment - they just didn't process the refund until after the fact. I am pretty sure it has been that way for a while.

Yep. I've made hundreds of orders on amazon, and a couple years ago they stopped doing the price matching crap after it shipped.
