how does a beautiful cabinet with a serious 12" driver and 1000Watts of power that plays flat to 24hz and will give you low teens in room for $650sound?

12" driver 3" voice coil 50 mm vented pole piece Multi-layer Kevlar impregnated honeycomb cone for extreme rigidity Hand-stitched Santoprene rubber surround Dual mirrored spiders with opposing silver plated cadmium copper tinsel leads

UFW-12 sub cabinets built by Sound Art China for AV123 years ago. These are the good cabinets without all the veneer problems that plagued av123 after they moved production.

Amp has been customized by Motor City Custom Audio and Seaton Sound. The new amp has had the limiter adjusted and a notch filter installed along with a high pass filter that has been fixed that results in this amp playing down to 23hz.

You can pound on this thing and it will make no funny noises!!

As you can see from the graphs it kicks the snot out of the original ufw-12 from av123. Also shown is the 15" version that I can upgrade the sub to, this will get you a little deeper response and a bunch more SPL.

I have all 4 of the original finishes available, Piano Black, Madagascar Ebony, Piano Birds Eye Maple, and Rosewood.

I have some new gear I need to get so I am taking offers

$650.00 OBO and I will even warranty the amp and driver for 1yr....

Why is the graph only to 30db?
Those are near field response graphs

I use REW with a calibrated mic. If you have ever used REW you know how hard it is to get a accurate SPL reading with it, its great software for response, just a PITA when it comes to levels.

Oh ok thanks. I think thats the same method Mark Seaton did before he sent Warpdrv's sub out. Place the mic a few inches from the center of the driver and run the sweep.

Yep sure is.

I do this to every sub or kit I do, along with a serious stress test just to make sure things are right.

I wonder how this would compare with my HSU? I have been searching for a cost effective sealed sub to try for quite some time, but I'm not willing to make any trade offs.

I'm very interested in these, however I don't have the coin for it currently. I would have to sell my HSU and break even, I don't think that is going to happen.
