Dude there is a reason that wedding aisle is so long, gives you plenty of time to make that wise last second moment of clarity and bolt for the door, and also gives you a five second head start.

I recall this phrase I told my best friend before he got married. I looked at him and said, "you wanna know what the bride to be is thinking as she's walking down that aisle? " he says, "what? I've said it before, and I'll say it once more, you all got it wrong!
I met my girl playing Xbox online (pretty much) Lived together for about 2 years now.
When I started getting more into audio and theater, she did a ton of research to learn more about the science of sound to undertand it better. Spent tons of time on craigslist looking for cool audio gear. Helped me wire everything. Enjoys it completely. She cycles the hardest mountain climbs with me, never complaining. Loves action films...hates romances. The last movies we saw at the theater by her request were: Predators and The Expendables.
She's been involved in the tattoo industry longer than me so understands my profession and doesn't get jealous when I go on convention trips surrounded by "tattoo groupies" and strippers.
She makes plenty of her own money and is focused on her career as much as I am on mine. Loves dirtbikes too!
And....she ain't no ugmo!!! 5'6", 103lb knockout.....does fashion and art modeling.

Now that I'm done bragging....she scored huge too with this fella right here!

Finally going to ask my girlfriend to marry me tonight. It's her 30th birthday party at a concert tonight. I tattoo the singer from the headline act, so, they'll pull her up on stage during their set...she'll think it's for her birthday, then I'll pop out and present the ring, then she'll say yes, the band will play "Ring of Fire" and my nerves will finally be settled. She can't say no in front of 2000 people!
Someone will video it, so I'll put it up on Vimeo for the people who weren't there.

Hell of a fun night. The show was awesome, lots of friends there to celebrate, a packed house, whiskey flowing (that helped a lot for the nerves!)
Ran late as could be, got on stage at about 1:15am. We stayed and continued celebrating well after the show was over, didn't even get out until 3:30 to head home and start the REAL celebration!

The video was shot on a little Vado camera, so the audio is pretty much awful, but luckily there were 2 professionals there filming, so I'll get those vids later.
