Nothing, but I used to have a UPS connected. If I was going to connect something, and spend for something, I would definitely just get a UPS so you can give it the cooling/powering down cycle during a blackout.

A arkight Junior Audioholic Oct 27, 2010 #3 So no filter i was thinking of using something. I found one that i can just replace the receptcal in the celing with it is some kind of power filter you think it would be worth it? Would i see any benifit ??

smurphy522 Full Audioholic Dec 20, 2010 #4 I just use a small 2 outlet type surge filter as cheap insurance. I did look into the UPS thing but did not want to mess with the already installed outlet in the ceiling or install a second mount to hold the UPS.
