Two receivers to a pair of speakers

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and seek your opinions on how I want to do a different set-up of my home theater. My B&W DM640i's has two sets of terminals for bi-wiring/bi-amping as a lot of you know and would like to ask if it's okay to hook-up a receiver for each set of terminals without damaging any of my equipments. I of course only intend to use the receivers one at a time.

Thanks,
aty

i don't think so, my gut tells me you'd end up with a short if the jumpers are connected

This is a bad idea. You can hook it up that way, but you will be replacing both receivers in short order :p

Thanks guys for your replies, I guess I'll have to get myself an A/B selector.

Yes, you will! Thank goodness you posted before the post saying you had no sound!
