40ft hdmi gauge?

I'm starting the plans for my dedicated room and was wondering the best gauge of HDMI cable to get in a 40ft cable. It will be the cable going to the projector and will be a in wall cable. Thanks for any abvice.

I've used a 35ft Mono cable, and it looked awesome. I've also used 15ft, and am now at 25ft. I cannot distinguish any difference whatsoever.

Install some kind of conduit so the cable can be replaced, if necessary. Technology changes fast enough that it's possible for HDMI to be obsolete in 10 years (because fiber optic will have taken over, hopefully).

I would also suggest that you pull 4 or 5 pairs of CAT-6 cabling.

CAT cabling can be used later on for any number of video cabling using CAT converter modules. There is also the possibility that HDMI will be replaced with a CAT cabling solution. For the price (about $6 a cable) it certainly is worth it. Especially if it won't be possible to get conduit in place.
