I have seen a ton of bikes killed in simple fender-benders around here when hitch mounted. It is bad enough to dent your bumper but a whole new ball game when you crush 6k of bikes along with it.

And what happens when a airplane makes an emergency landing on the highway and hits your pretty bikes then?

I've been pretty satisfied with my A/V for a while now, no overwhelming urges to upgrade my systems. My bikes are sitting pretty for the time being as well....at least until next race season.

Found out that I can pour countless dollars into rebuilding vintage cafe bikes. I've had a '72 Yamaha brat-tracker done for a couple years, but spent the last months bringin' a stripped '71 Honda CB175ss back to life as a street cafe bike. That's been eating my free time completely for a bit.

Yep, I have been keeping up with the bike build. It is awesome, great job!

The second picture is a very rocky, long and steep climp but in the picture, it doesn't look bad at all.

This trail is about an hour from my house and it is a 18 mile loop. There is a trail that is 7 minutes from my house but I hate it so I do the long drive twice a week.

Keep in mind that I am taking that picture and that's my buddy on his bike.
He is a good 240lbs and he can kick my butt on the trail.

The only reason I bring that up is so you don't think those are my "love-handles" and I am lying about losing over 10lbs already.

The dedication is easy, I was right at the point where I knew at 46 years of age, I needed to do more than just lift weights. I hate cardio and can't make myself do it. Your ad for the bike was just what I needed to get off my butt and do a lot of cardio.

Find something you enjoy and just keep moving. I have seen several friends with health issues(mainly the heart) just recently. We (friends and I) are all in the mid 40's and I guess that's when problems start.

My friend, in the picture, had a heart attack 4 weeks ago. It was due to blockage and didn't cause any damage but he did get a nice pretty shunt. I am shocked that he can ride 3 hours at a hard pace just 4 weeks after he got out of the hospital.
