By mistake I ordered the Digital Video Essentials DVD. Its ok, but I do not like how the test tones go up 1 Hz every second and that you cannot control what tone is playing.

Does the Avia II or Avia I allow you to control what tone is playing or does it just cycle through 15hz-150hz like the DVE?

Thanks, any help would be great

I have Avia II and no, you don't have control of the tones. The tone increases (or decreases? can't remember for sure) steadily in frequency, seamlessly. There is a formula for calculating the frequency at any point during play, based on the elapsed time. However, you need a black belt in math to figure it out.
