Beatles Yellow Submarine Remastered CD

I already have most the "Beatles" songs from this on other CD's but I bought this because I love the George Martin score from the movie, which was lacking until recently on CD.

Anyhow, there seems to be some "Artifacts" I'm not too pleased with. Mainly, there is some slight "low chatter" on "Only a Northern song and on "All Together Now" when the bass comes in.

I'm going to write "www.thebeatles.com" and see who, exactly, is responsible for this and see if it can be exchanged for a copy w/o this transgression.

FWIW, it's a Denon DVD 1940-CI universal player that's played everything else I've rammed down it's throat (except Blu-ray), not a GPX walkman from Shady Sam's Discounted Merchandise.

Thanks for the reminder!
I haven't thought about this album in ages. I used to wear that side of the LP out in high school.

So if I follow, the orchestral "side" is aces, right?

Thanks,
Kurt

Right. It plays fine. My wife doesn't like it, but I always did.

I hadn't heard it in years and when I saw this remaster had it, I jumped on it.

But, still in all, I expected (and paid for) a 100% playable CD.
