It cost him his job. You could see the other two wanting to move on because they didn't want to lose theirs. You'd think that they would know what type of stuff not to say in order to keep those kinds of jobs. Rick Sanchez was another employment fatality due to not knowing what not to say.

Back on topic I am sure that Mz. Dikshit :D totally outclasses Mr. Unemployed.
Think of the PR boon if she were to actually get him his job back. ;)

Yeah, the other two looked EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Very unprofessional for that dude to keep going on and on about it and saying the name wrong, he definitely deserved to lose his job for that.

What I don't understand is this: if her name is pronounced like "Dixit", why wouldn't it be spelled that way in English? I mean, it was originally written in what - Sanskrit? Can't be sure, as I think there are a lot of languages used in India. So, when it's translated into English spelling, why wouldn't it be spelled the way it sounds?

And yeah, that anchor is a complete d*ck! ;) A lot of us enjoy a bit of potty humour, but that was wayyyy over the line.

The pronunciation might be Diks-hit. I was up all night thinking about that.

I was also thinking about what a moron you have to be to think you're gonna get one over on a diplomat. They use words for a living and judging by their positions, they are awesome at it. Further more it's an old lady! If you don't know not to eff with old women you certainly don't deserve a nice cushy job reading teleprompters.

This guy seems to be a Howard Stern type. I guess every country has them.
