What about a samsung pn58-c8000?

Well i changed my mind and wanna go 3d already and im selling my kuro pro-1150hd....i read lots of good reviews about the samsung c8000 series! plasma of course!...i know the panny vt25 is slightly better in term of blacks but i have a very good price on the 58'' samsung...would you guys do it and will i regret it not getting a vt25?

Your'e gonna see a lot of growth and change, and to give up the Kuro for early adoption, IMO, Id wait a bit.

Your TV is a great 2D TV. I wouldn't spend the money on a first generation 3D TV. I'd wait until there is more 3D content and the prices drop on 3D models.

thx guys i appreciate your opinions and comments....ill be thinking about it....the be more specific in my needs is that i want a bigger screen now and i think the 8 inches more would be just perfect from my watching distance...and i know i should at least wait for the new 2011 3d models cause only there they will be better compared to this year...but....i do think more containts are coming and its coming faster then we think...i saw the 58'' c800 plasma today and i was quite impressed...2d and 3d wise...

I just recently purchased the Samsung 58" PN58C590 and I know it's not as good as the C8000 series, but it looks darn good, and if you get the C8000 ISF calibrated, I don't think you would regret it one bit. Not to mention you should be able to fetch a pretty good price for the Kuro.

right!....the samsung i would get wouldnt cost me from my pockets directly...tomorrow a guy is coming to my place and im selling him my monitor 11v5 and center channel and im sure i can sell my kuro very fast so...for that i get a pretty good 3d tv and a bigger screen.......and honestly 2d talking and in terms of blacks the samsung is not very far behind the kuro...i was impressed..and the picture under bright light in the store was better then with my kuro...guys here always told me...bigger the better!..haha...but knowing my self i could end up with a vt25 lmao....

If your motivation is increasing the size of you TV then buy that's not a bad route to take for the money. Just don't be surprised if the picture isn't as good as the smaller Pioneer.

I know the 2d picture will be all of a task to beat for the next hdtv i will get but yes i admitt it....size matters!..lmao...and like i said the samsung pnc8000 or vt25 would really do the thing....and there are not so behind the kuro's in terms of PQ...i think and from what i saw...

And yes i am used to a verry accurate picture and very dark blacks but i think im willing to do it..the one inch thick samsung model and bigger screen is very attractive.....and like i said to the human wont really notice a very slitght difference...and the samsungs are known for their colour accuracy wich is very important to me...

Well well well...things changes so fast sometimes...a guy called me at 6;30am this morning and want to buy my kuro lmao...yeah 6;30am lol...i can have some good price right now here in canada for both samsung pn 7000 series and 8000 series....didnt decide yet but if the difference isnt too much between the 2 i might get the 58-c8000 but i would also be happy getting the 7000 series cause they are both great sets!...
