I am looking to clean up the TV area. I would like to put all the components and wiring in the wall next to the TV. Any help I could get would be great. Example pics would be great.

Not sure what you are asking about.

What is it that you are trying to do. Exactly. Maybe you could post a pic or two of the space.

What is directly behind the TV wall, what do you want it to look like ,( size - color - depth - material ) if this goes right next to your panel where will the speakers be placed in wall or floor standers, the more info you provide the more advice the AH Members can give you back :)

Sorry Mod I missed that , so basically what he ^^^ said.

How do I add pics that are on my computer?

My goal is to have the components in the wall. Front speakers and sub on the floor. I would like to see if it is possible to put the center in the wall, or I will just purchase a stand. I currently have a 62" DLP, but I plan on purchasing a 60"+ LED when I do this work. Behind the TV is the wall (dry wall) for the stairs going up (right side of wall). The left side of the wall has two closets that are in the kitchen. I dont think I can take the closets (will have to ask the wife).

Thanks for your help.

Up at almost the top of the forums here is a menu bar. 2nd from left is FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions).

They have a section on posting pics and images. Go to the bottom of the main FAQ page and click on reading and posting messages.

Most walls are not deep enough to take equipment. If you flush mount to a wall you need a walk in mechanical space behind or it is a nightmare.

There are in wall speakers, but for the center you need to match your left and rights. You can only put a speaker in a wall that is designed for that location.

Is this something like the effect you want?

If it is you need this. Otherwise you will create a nightmare.

Then you need to do something like this for your center.

And mount it like this.

Is this the type of final effect you want?

I was wondering if at first the OP was talking about building a false wall or a wall of cabinetry.

Then he stated that it was up against the stairs which means there may be potential to actually flush mount his setup. When we get pics we will see.

I wonder if the stairs are open baluster or walled floor to ceiling, the open stairs almost always create a problem for the flat panel. and the right or left speaker depending on stair location, but the two small closets he says are next to the stairs have the potential to become equipment rooms We Need Pics :D
