Hello,
I plan to bi-amp my Polk RT16 using two unused channels from my 5ch amp.
When i remove the jumper, what is the typical impedance that is seen by each channel?
thanks
tran.

Its still goes through the passive crossover;) you really will not see any benefit bi amping this way. There are not many speakers designed to passive bi amp.

I know the topic has been discussed over and over.
to my understanding, one channel drive the mid and high and the other one drive the low. Regardless, i am just wondering what does each channel drive when with and without the jumper?

The same as if you were not bi amping.

It depends on the speaker, really. It shouldn't be a problem for most good amps, though. The woofer(s) presents the load that where the DC resistance is measurable but that's barely an approximation of the impedance. How loud do you listen, and do you need the extra 3dB?
