I can't believe the price drop on these speakers since the Klipsch buyout of API at those prices these speakers are great buys. Fwiw...my 30's retailed for >$1200.00 pair, I know the buyout encouraged me to buy mine, but this showed me just how inflated prices are on speakers.

Yeah, I think Klipsch may be running Energy into the ground from the looks of things. I've been thinking of switching to dipole surrounds and 1/2 price for those RC-R's is verrrry tempting. I can imagine the reaction from head office - "You need another pair of speakers!?"

I can't believe it - she said yes! I had to go to two different stores in the Halifax area to get a pair (they each had only one in stock ), so it's a good thing I went this evening....
