Tape output with digital input?

My Marantz SR-6001 has the habit of indicating "PEAK" when I play CD's through the analog input. This requires that I enable the "ATT" (attenuate) function.
So, I switched to a digital connection between my CD player and Receiver.
While that solved that issue, I no longer have output at the "Tape Output" connections which I have been using to feed a second receiver (for A-B capability when listening to speakers).

Is there a way to retain the digital connection and pass it on to the second receiver?

If its coax just use a y splitter.

Thanks! I didn't even think of that because I have had distortion when using a Y splitter with an analog signal. DOH!

You could also feed the analog from the cd player to the 2nd recevier.
