Actually the subject of the book is 40 types of lumber commonly used in building furniture so some coniferous woods are included.

Coniferous wood topics are off-limits....even in the Steam Vent.

I was too lazy to go upstairs to double check the book title.
It's a cool book; it even has real samples tucked inside.

Yes as the OP I request that the discussion be kept to carnivorous wood and not coniferous.....lets at least keep it interesting.
