I think I'll be all right. I talked to Maximum Motorsports this morning and they said as long as I have 6 full turns on my lug nuts, I'll be all right. I'm only putting 1/4" spacers on.
Looks good Darien!

If I may add my 2 cents on the wheel spacer subject::) Would it be possible to take a grinder to the contact point of the calipers?

In a perfect world it's best not to use spacers, or off-set wheels; If you have to use them; see if an 1/8 spacer will work.
The problem is, it changes the Scrub Radius. http://www.cdxetextbook.com/steersusp/wheelsTires/alignFund/scrubradius.html
Google is your friend on this one.

Always had a soft spot for Mustangs. I've restored a 68 fastback w/ 302 and a 68 GT-500 w/ 428.

Ford got a better balance of retro vs new in the interior. I also got to ride in a 2011 Challenger. The car is larger than either of the other two, but I was pretty impressed with it. Interior was nice and it felt like a solid car.
Of the 3, I actually like the looks of the Challenger the best. I think Dodge completely nailed the melding of old and new with that car. Too bad it's a frickin' sled.

I probably could grind down the calipers. It would really bug me to have to repaint them though. I really trust the guys at Maximum Motorsports though. Those guys do TONS of testing on their products and they build a lot of their stuff in house. I think they're the best out there for modifying Mustangs. If they say I'll be all right, I trust them.

Extended studs and/or open ended nuts might help too. You told them the exact rims you have and they recommended spacers?

For the price of any of these I could easily purchase an Ariel Atom, have more fun & performance and have a more unique talking point. ;)

Until it rains :) The Atom is far from a daily driver. But yes, in terms of driving fun, I'd say that is probably it.

Well, the M3 is still quickest around a track

I reckon that as when it comes to pleasure of driving the Ariel Atom will outperform any of the aformentioned cars, and on a bendy road, you probably need something close to a formula one car to outperform the Atom.... yes?

The quickest version of Atom now has 500hp @ 10000 rpm
it's got 5 vales per cylinder and screams .... faster faster faster ....

Although, the M3 is the car of my dreams......

Well, even with the 1/4" spacers, the wheel is still closer to the caliper than I would like. I had almost 8 turns on my lugs though so I think I'll try a set of 5/16" spacers and call it a day.
