I thought there was a thread for this one but I couldn't find it? I watched this one last night. Not bad at all. It was completely sold out at Frys when I was there at lunch but was available on Redbox on BD. Reviews seemed positive so I figured I'd check it out. PQ is pretty good and AQ is very good. There isn't as much bass in this one as I hoped for, only a few heavy hits for the most part. The story is a bit thin IMO, but it is decently acted; it is a comic-book style story after all. The action is main draw here IMO; VERY over the top and the characters are interesting so it sort of makes up for some of the weaker points. The violence level is quite high, but it they try to offset it by adding some comic relief; meaning it isn't as angry and dark as some of the scenes in Watchmen, but it is harsh at times with a few "holy s***" moments out of me. The little girl does a great job with some definite hints of Luc Besson in there (The Professional, La Femme Nikita). The story is a bit heavy and probably isn't a movie for everyone. It is a social commentary at our level indifference today. Though the story has a definite tone, the end result is still a fun action flick. I enjoyed it. 3.5/5 Worth a rent :)
