here's a screenshot of the page i linked earlier:
If someone is willing to buy it because they're "into cables", then more power to Denon. Though, I will readily admit the verbage is at least misleading.

They have been doing that for years. They always overclaim

Before I knew what I was talking about (17 years ago) I had a salesman push this Monster $90.00 Digital unidirectional cable as the main link to my FULL home theater system I had just purchased from the ground up. The store was the now out of business Goodguys. I spent a full YEAR wondering why it didn't sound as good as my buddies system and why did I never get DTS to work.

Well a year later I am complaining to some 14 year old clerk at best buy and he looks at me weird and points to a rack...says. Get that it will fix you all up. A 12 dollar fibre optic cable , I get it home plug it is a WALA !!!

I took that 90.00 cable back and got a FULL refund.

Confession time. I was going to originally jump in here last week and bash Monster. That was until today where I had a chance to use one of these "Digital Life" Ethernet cables. The difference is not subtle. My fonts are extra sharp, the richness of the reply box just pops against the background now, and the smilies are almost 3 dimensional. This guy right here - :D - actually looks like he is in my room with me. I also found it doubles as a great autoerotic asphyxiation device, unlike those lower class ethernet cables. Once again, Monster has hit it out of the park. YMMV.
