I'm currently using a Yamaha RX-V465 amp with NS-F210 front speakers. I guess these are ok for movies, but when running 2 channel music I don't think they produce the goods. I think the music and voices are too light and overall give quite poor experience.
The problem that I regard as the worst is the fact that the voices get too light and have too much treble. So certain sounds like S and similar get too high. I'm playing with thought of changing these F210 speakers to a set of NS-777 instead.
Do you think I would get better performance (not only louder, but better sound) if I change my F210 speakers to two NS-777 instead? They are significantly larger, so I also wonder if my V465 amp would cope with them?
Any help highly appreciated!
