Got this one from Netflix the other day and it was a pleasant surprise. Drew Barrymore flims can be hit or miss, though more often than not they tend to be pretty good. This one is her directorial debut and I liked it. It may qualify a bit as "chick movies guys can watch" because it boils down to a "coming of age" chick style story. Since they wrap it up with ROLLER DERBY, that removes any of the chick flick taste from it and makes it very entertaining. Solid story, excellent acting and a good film overall. PQ and AQ are good. Recommended rental.
