jamie, I am still amazed that people are basically giving away their RPTV's considering that with proper calibration their image can best most Plasmas and LCD out today. I have a 42" plasma and a 58" Pioneer Elite RPTV and my 10 year old Pioneer gives me a better picture than my 2 year old Plasma (after calibration and overscan reduction) I was watching "U-571" on UHD one day on my Pioneer and halfway thorugh the movie I decided to watch the rest in my master bedroom on my plasma and instantly noticed that the finer details werent as noticable on the plasma as they were on my RPTV.

Enjoy your new toy and for 80.00 that almost can't be beat.

There is a bit of a difference between your rear projection Pioneer and a rear projection DLP.

Your Pioneer is CRT based and is a totally different technology. A DLP rear projection set can produce an excellent image but they certainly don't beat the best plasma displays.

For $80 though... that's a pretty good deal.
