Ive spent some time doing some research and I have yet to find a website that explains how to choose the right gauge sub wire. I will have an EP4000 powering two Dayton 15 inch Titanic MkIIIs in 2 separate THT cabs in stereo mode.

Drivers = 4ohms, 800 W RMS handling
EP4000 rated at 950 W RMS into 4 ohms per channel
Distance= not sure yet

Are there any general guidelines to follow based off increased length and based off the impedance and power handling of the driver and amp. Also if you can recommend a specific brand that would be great.

Thank you very much!

Knowing your distance is part of the equation; so answering the question accurately, won't happen without it.
Though, wire is so cheap these days, it doesn't hurt to err on the side of over-kill. If it's over 30ft I'd go with 10AWG too.

I did find multiple website correlating distance to wire gauge. I am extremely concerned about how much power the wire can handle at 800 W RMS with respect to the distance. You cannot just base your gauge on the distance alone. At least I am pretty sure of this.

12AWG should be fine, but I used the 10AWG from Bluejeans for my project.
I am also using the EP4000, but to drive 1 - 18 inch.

Did you read the link I posted? IT HAS YOUR ANSWER as well as the reason why... Just because you have an amp capable of that kind of power doesn't mean the drivers will be using 100% of it all the time. Capacitance is also not going to be a factor in the lower frequencies like it would be with highs, if that is a concern.
