Whats the major difference besides 3D. Will there be a remarkable difference with the naked eye?

The major difference I have been told are Better anti glare and contrast ratio.

Also when in the store compared to my house the Tv's look small. I stand 10 feet away from a 54" and I go to my friends house who has a 54" about the same distance it looks huge. I was going to go with 65 but now having 2nd thoughts.

Lets see

I do not know the differences in the displays, but I can tell you that bigger is better. I first bought a 60" Sony xbr1 and said wow, this is huge! Of course, my last display was a 32". Got used to it. Now I have a 70" and bigger would still be better, but quality is really important. I went from a 20' in my bedroom, 16' x16' to a 46". 50" would have been even better. If I did not have so many light issues in my den, I would put in a projector, even bigger. Hope I helped.

and the brightening issue is more gradual in the VT than that of the V10 series
