polk psw505 vs Klipsch Synergy 12in?

Right now newegg has a sale on the Klipsch Synergy 12in. It goes for $262 after a coupon code.

That is the same price as the polk psw505 and is really the max I would like to spend on a sub to match the rest of my HT system:

ONKYO TX-SR608
Polk Monitor 70s
Polk Monitor 60s
Polk CS2
Polk Atrium5

I guess I'm wondering, which sub would match my system better? This is in a 18X15X8 foot room, so like 2200 cubic feet with hardwood floors.

Any and all suggestions welcome!

One of my friends just got the Ultra 12 and upgraded from a Dayton Sub 120 and the difference is night and day better. I would probably put the Sub 120 up against those 2 subs and favor the 120.

I'd do with the 12" Emotivia or if you have the room then possibly a ported design like eD's A2-300.

alright, well... enough said... I don't think I will ever be able to beat quality at this price anyway, so I pulled the trigger on this emotiva:

it's a new brand, seems fairly highly regarded and the sub being on sale +free shipping really makes this a good deal in my opinion.

Plus I need a more music friendly sub and whatever HT performance I get out of it will be better then no sub. Will let u know what I think when I get it.

Its not a new brand, however Emotiva is new to the subwoofer market as this is their first design.

RCA is correct. Make sure its a 75ohm cable.

If you don't have one go to monoprice and order it. Extremely cheap and high quality.

You shouldn't have to wait that long. Emotiva tends to ship quickly if the item is in stock. I'm guessing you will see it on Thursday or Friday.

Very interested to hear your impressions when you get it. The reviews I've read so far look positive.
