So I just watched this movie, and I was pretty impressed. I think it is the only movie I have seen where french people kick some a$$. Definitely worth a rental (or netflix instant view) if you don't mind subtitles.

I also just found out that there is a sequel, which I will watch soon

The story and dialog were terrible, but the action was great. I have the second one in my queue. There is an english dub on the Blu-ray of this one, but it is pretty bad.

For what they are, they are fantastic. Street runners making movies, cool movement... and for the record I will take subtitles over dubbed every time.

I think both movies are great and independant on their own. Although the original had far more acrobatic stunts, but considering the two main characters are getting older this is to be expected, but loved the Ultimatum as much as the original. Very much agree do not watch the dubbed versions they are atrocious, best to read the subtitles.

One of the main two good guys actually got a pretty good "bad" part in the last Die Hard (Live Free of Die Hard) movie because of his acrobatic stunts. (he was the guy jumping through the frozen room over the sharpened blades and the hitman who was jumping from balcony to balcony at the begining of the movie.

I rented the BD from Netflix and I enjoyed it. The chases and stunts were tres cool.

I think my favorite scene was in the casino followed by the first chase scene where Leito is escaping the building.

I only saw the dubbed copy about 5 years ago and it was great. My favorite scene was right after he dumped the coke down the toilet and escaped from the appartment complex.
