I am looking for some good quality red LCR speakers. His budget is about $3K for all three. My friend has a red Ferrari & wants to same color on the speakers(trim & grills). He already purchased a NuVision 55" which they did a custom trim(awesome). Any ideas????

If he can afford a Ferrari, he can custom order any speaker he wants and have 'em paint them red.

Triad will custom paint any of their speakers to your specification. Totem has the Tribe III in red but those sell for around $1800 ea but it will sound better than any on-wall speaker out there.

Jamo has red speakers too, but I believe they are over your budget.

The red grill is going to be a challenge but you might see if Salk Sound will built a set of Song Towers in Ferrari red. 2 Towers and a Song Center in a custom hand rubbed finish will probably run $2500-3000.

Or if he just wants inexpensive bookshelves Usher makes the S-520 in Ferrari red.

Am I the only one who thinks this is a joke?
Personally, I think anything except a car that has the Ferrari name on it is an overpriced joke. Unfortunately, they do exist.

Owns a Ferrari and is only willing to spend $3,000 on 3 speakers?! Really?

I don't know this guy but it's good to keep in mind that not everyone buying Ferrari is buying a brand new $150,000 car. Some people are happy and proud to scrape up enough coin to pick up a mid 70s car and lovely restore it over a decade as they scape up coin to fix this or that or just keep it running.

In general case sholling might be right, but I have to disagree here - the guy ponied up $1500 !! for custom color tv finish. This guy is not being cheap on his toys ... I don't even know why he set $3k budget for speakers ..

because he doesn't care about sound, just the looks

Service on his ferrari is killin him as it is, so he's gotta set a budget somewhere on something just so he can afford to drive that car...

I Had a few customers that bought ferrari's and that ownership didn't last long....
