Because I have a gnarly ear infection and I'm like half deaf out the right side of my head till it clears up and on top of that I found out I have pink eye! Telling you guys don't turn 30. Its all down hill after that!

I'm turning 40 this year. I thought that was when the body goes to crap. It isn't nice when the ears don't work, but it make you greatful once they work again how they should how much you missed them.

I turned 40 last fall. So did my friend. He was diagnosed with (entirely treatable) thyroid cancer within a few days. I think I'm holding up pretty well, all things considered.

I guess we are all slowly dying, some just faster than others.

heading towards 57 here

The knees are bad, the back is bad and no energy BUT my hearing is spectacular according to the audiologist and the HF sensitivity is remarkable for anyone past 16.

I already turned 40 this year and my system still sounds great :D Doing a lot of work on the house isn't as kind to the body as it used to be though.

Getting old sucks! I took my first ambulance ride to the ER a month and half ago at age 36 while on my first real vacation since 2006. Spent 3 days in the hospital. So much for my relaxing family vacation. Hauled me out of the Disney resort through the front door too where everyone could see!

Getting old sucks!

The worst part of getting old is it doesn't take much to injure yourself. You wake up with a bad neck. How do you explain to your buddies it wasn't caused by you saving an entire sorority house from a fire during a pajama party and each insisted on personally thanking you but from simply sleeping?

Or the back injury from bending over to pick up CD you dropped?
