Three one goal games, one in OT. This will go seven, at least I sure hope it does!

Very big win for the Hawks tonight, take comfort Doug the Hawks haven't beaten the Flyers at Home since 96' so that's one stat in Philly's favor, not that I'm happy about it but the facts are the facts. I see that Pronger spent less time on the ice tonight, I guess Laviolette wants to save him for games 6&7.

Don't know why - he was on the ice for 6 Chicago goals, if memory serves. Not a great game for him.

That's right....he was even on the ice for the empty net goal and sitting in the sin bin for another goal, he had a minus 5 rating... I hate that SOB....:p. You should listen to the local love fest with Pronger here on the sports talk shows....

I'm no fan of his either. I recall a few months ago, somebody polled NHL players to determine who the "dirtiest" player might be and guess whose name topped the list....

Don't ask me who did the poll; I just heard some commentators mention it during a hockey game.

And, during the Olympics, he looked like he was in another world, making one bonehead play after another.

Hey, I was trying to be nice and here you come with your facts to mess that up thanks.:D

If Pronger was to hit the market we all know that teams will be tripping over themselves trying to get him, don't get me wrong I can't stand the guy but last night was not his best game and he did keep Byfuglien in check until last night.

So we are talking about the same guy. I believe in that poll after Pronger there was a huge drop off. It sure looks like playoff hockey suits his style of play(long reach and stick work in tight) where seldom anything gets call in those tight checking games:rolleyes:. Hah...I bet you even the Flyer fans hated him prior...;):)

Our...(sorry Leafs) stupid GM would be moving heaven and earth....talk about a man crush!

BTW...I loved that hit in the corner which sent him(Pronger) flying....woohooo...:D

Oh, no argument, he is having a good playoff year, overall. Last night just didn't reflect that.

I'm not sure about his market value though. He is getting on in years and his best performances are behind him, IMHO.

He did look like something sucked the life out of him last night, He might have at least one or two good years left in the tank if he limits his ice time. He shouldn't be averaging 30mins of ice time every game like he's been doing he's not 20 anymore. Billy last night the Hawks decided to gang up on him and make him work hard which IMO made him less effective last night and it's about time that he got knock around for a change, hopefully they will do this in game 6. This was a beauty

Yea that was it...lol:D. Last nights game the Hawks finnally made the entire Philly defence pay the price by dumping the puck into the corner and making them chase it which creates turnovers and gets the forecheck going like the Flyers do...if they do more of that Tuseday night than the cup is theirs..otherwise get ready for game 7:).

I'm hopeful that this will continue into Game 6 but what also helped was Coach Q changing up the lines, Hossa is a workhorse that guy was all over the place. Now if the Hawks can do what they haven't been able to do since 96, beat Philly at home which is no easy task then I will be happy, but I'm cautious about counting Philly out they have a deep line-up.

It seemed Philly really struggled with the puck last night while Chicago handled it really well. These teams really put on a great show.
