Possible world record pace in and out of attic

This was the hottest my attic has been during an install. The temp gauge read 104, 10 minutes after I took it out of the attic. I meant to check it when I was up there but it was becoming more of a life or death situation and I had to get in the pool quickly.

Anyway, it was a fast and simple install of some NILES IR gear to control my patio zone.

Thanks Craig!!!!!

Neat. Good job, man. So, have you poured the margarita, or are you already on your second? :D

You kidding me? I had 5 just to make myself get up there!

Funny story and likely dangerous but true- when me and my buddy first wired the whole house for HT, we went through 1 and 1/2 bottles of Glen Levit. It was winter so we took our time but I am glad neither one of us feel through the ceiling.

Great job. I bet it felt like 60 degrees when you stepped out of the attic. Even if it was 80 inside the house.

I don't like that placement. You should move it .5" to the left.:D

Good job, Greg!

Darn you...I was actually thinking I should have placed it farther back towards the setting area but it was going to take a lot more time to get to that part of the attic which may have become my grave at that point.

I also went ahead and polished up the sub with some good car wax since I had it pulled out.

Is that one CFL friendly? If not, get ready for it to not work well.

Oh, you are saying is it resistant to CFL/Plasma interference...

Interference Resistance: The MS100 is resistant to CFL interference created by fluorescent lighting. This gives you more installation flexibility into areas with fluorescent lighting.

Plasma-proof Design: The sensor features a plasma-proof design that allows placement of the MS100 near plasma displays.

IR Receiving Range: You get 18' to 30' of remote control range, depending upon the strength of your handheld remote. The IR pickup angle is 30° off-axis (horizontal and vertical) at 20'.
Is that one CFL friendly? If not, get ready for it to not work well.

Not sure what CFL is but it works great.
CFL is 'Compact Florescent Light' friendly. It also means it's not affected by plasma or LCD TVs.

As long as it works great, don't worry about it.

Looks great Greg. I'm glad it was fairly painless getting up there. Did you get a waterproof remote yet so you can float in the pool while you flip.:D

A TV on your patio.

Have I mentioned how much I hate you lately?;):D Our climate would not be very friendly to such a setup. Neat installation, BTW.
