Indeed, they are well beyond rebuke at this point. They think they can attack anyone at anytime, and that Uncle Sam will shield them from condemnation. It is time for a "South Africa" style boycott so that they finally realize they can no longer flout international law, and human rights.I myself am totally over the anti-semite baloney that they have garnered for years playing on the hearts of the world to feel bad as they continue to abuse human rights with no consideration for ANY one else. This has got to stop!!!! I wonder how our "leader" will deal with the situation?I am upset by this and will no longer stand for Israels crap. They need to be cut loose now.
Sorry this is really making me mad, anyone else feel kind of the same? Just a discussion no need for personal attacks please....
Thats and Israel based paper. Please give me a break here........this country has abused its neighbors for ever with our support.I cannot even begin to comment any further as I would be banned.........again just a discussion in the steam vent.
I still have no clue about what you're talking about. You make vague accusations about "Israel crap", but nothing tangible really. Why would you be banned for your comments? Are they anti-Semite? Is it hateful? Propaganda? My guess is that you really don't know much about what you're talking about...
The funny thing is, I was about to post a couple of local articles, cbc.ca, but this rag is so anti-Israel it's ridiculous, they don't even state the reason the ships were boarded. Yet they quote Ahmet Davutoglu who called the raid "murder conducted by a state". They quote Mahmoud Abbas who "condemned the Israeli "aggression"". They bold:
No provocation: Free Gaza Movement.
But
THEY NEVER ACTUALLY MENTION THE ACTUAL REASON THE SHIPS WERE BOARDED. Way to drop the ball. It's really, really sad. No surprise people are going: "OMG the IDF has murdered all these activists Israel is EVIL!"
You'd think they're worst than the Somalian pirates. Savagely attacking activists like that... They even call it an attack. lmao "Reaction to the attack was a new blow to Israel's ..."
I can't fathom how it's not evident that this was orchestrated to denigrate Israel. I hate to have to say this, as it could be construed as racist, but it's something we see so often with arab/arab states... Pushing, pushing, pushing, then when they pushed back, then omg look at what they did!
So someone answer me this. What did they think was going to happen when they tried to bypass the blockade and then attacked soldiers? When they beat up soldiers with metal pipes, stabbed them, threw them off decks, did they not fathom that hey, maybe this isn't right, if we don't want to get shot, we shouldn't be doing this?
It's a big publicity stunt. That's all this is...
What do you think would have happened if you tried to land a ship without allowing it to get inspected, and then ignored and attacked the USA's coast guard when they tried to board the ship? It's sad that so many 'newspapers' gobble this up and regurgitate this crap...
I ****ing love it... Comments: "This vessel was attacked in international waters though.". How was it attacked?
It was boarded, then
the activists attacked the IDF soldiers. That's the point here. If the American army, coast guard, anyone boards your ship,
you do not attack them. If you do, then you deserve whatever repercussion you bring unto yourself.
Hilarious that comments like this:
The strategy of the activists was to swarm the Gaza coast and force the Israeli Defense Forces to use violence against them so that the world would react with outrage. They went seeking martyrdom and some of them found it. They got what they wanted and they obviously succeeded in their mission, which had nothing to do with actually delivering relief supplies to Gaza.
Interdicting the flotilla in international waters was the most humane solution. If they had waited until a number of craft were closer to shore, they would have had to sink them to stop them. Casualties would then have been hundreds of protesters instead of a dozen or so.

Get 50 thumbs down and 25 thumps up. What's wrong with the above? (Not mine btw...). It's easy to be click on 'vote thumbs down', but I'd absolutely LOVE to see how anyone would try to defend their vote.
