Good HDMI Switch?

I am going to put my AV rack in a back room to help clean up clutter. Since my pre/pro does not have HDMI, I need an HDMI switch.

Any ideas which are good? ie do NOT mess with the signal, just do a bit x bit copy. It does not need to pass audio, but does need to pass 1080p24. I would also like at least 4 HDMI inputs. If it had 2 out, that would be a bonus.

With the cost of some higher-end switches, I was thinking of going with a the Anchor Bay's DVDO EDGE.
Since it has drop to around $499, it seems like a steal. Of course it has the same video processor as my Oppo BDP-83, so it would only really help on the cable box, but for a little more, it might be worth it. I also really like the audio out too. If I upgrade to an HDMI pre/pro, I can use it for audio.

Any personal experience with switches or the EDGE would be great.

This is what I use and it works perfectly. And it only costs $30. I would never consider paying $500 for something so trivial as a switch. There is no way you could tell the difference between the two.

I recommended a Mono switcher to a friend, but unfortunately the Pana BDP doesn't pass thru it, for some reason. So, it has to be fed directly to TV, on the spare HDMI input.

Yeah, $30 vs $500 is a huge difference. I would think twice about spending on something you very well might not need.

If I had to buy a DVDO, it's the Duo that interests me the most, but that's because I have a real need for the CMS.

Yeah, I looked at this one before. I guess I will go this route. If I do the install and it does not work, I can always swap it out.

Now, to get Blue Jean or Monoprice cables. Looks like Mono is the same at BJ's Tartan cables. So, is their brand any better? Is it only more expensive because it is "Made in the USA"?

The cable doesn't know where its made. I will admitt the LC-1 sub cable I bought from BJC is thicker and offers better sheilding(if required) than the sub cable I have from monoprice, but IMHO....I have found no discernible difference between the two. As for most other cables I kind of feel the same way.
