Harmony 880 and HTPC

Can I use my 880 to control my HTPC? I have a Windows remote with IR and I tried to "teach" the remote but haven't had luck so far. I am new with the Harmony so maybe I am doing something wrong.

Also, does anyone know how I can have Boxee automatically start when the computer boots? I am sure there is a way and I am Googling it now, but just thought I'd ask.

Thanks

I have boxee on Zotac Ion and Mini ITX case, newest Boxee running on Win7
For Remote - I got Dell MCE IR Receiver off ebay and Programmed my Harmony 880 to use Microsoft MCE Keyboard as device for HTPC - you can find most of key mapping in boxee/xbmc forums...

99% works fine

Thanks for the link but I'm a little confused. How do you program the 880 to use Microsoft MCE Keyboard mapping?

Add new device in harmony software: Computer/Media Center PC/ Microsoft/MicrosoftMCE Keyboard

and custom map keys in activity

Ok it looks like everything is good now. I added the MCE keyboard and had to map a few keys (like the "Back" button) and I think everything is good now. I created a new activity that starts the HTPC, TV and receiver.

Now if I can only get Boxee to start at boot. I tried copying the .EXE to the Startup folder in Windows 7 but it was a no go. I found a registry hack to replace explorer.exe with Boxee.exe but I would like to try that as a last resort.

Anyone no how to do this?

Thanks again BoredSys!

Well, just copy and paste boxee shortcut into StartUp folder in win7 - works like a charm.
