Jamie mentioned that this concert was being put on by a radio station. After asking around I found out that it's 95.5 BRU which sort of caters to the high school teeny bopper crowd. Some guys doing a deck on the same house I'm working on were saying that the whole down town thing and high school girls were to be avoided.

All I know is that I am so bringing a camera and my girl is so forbidden from coming with.

I stayed there with my wife 2 or 3 years ago, she went to some accounting seminar.
It was a nice place and had good food in their restaurant. When we went downstairs to eat the chef came out and said, since it was their slow season he offered make us a chef's tasting menu.
EDIT: I re-read your post and just realized you said "A hotel in Providence" not 'The' Hotel Providence......never mind.

That storm hit us starting at about 10 P.M. (I live west of DC). It seems like things really get kicked up a notch as soon as the weather crosses the mountains. The hail woke me up.

Fortunately, the new law is in effect regarding time spent on the tarmac. Had it been longer than 3 hours, the airline would have been fined. Though, I'm probably sure the lawyers have some fine print in that agreement that acts of God (e.g. weather) can prevent the fines from being presented.
